SKODA is giving its little Citigo hatchback a style upgrade with the launch of a Black Edition priced from £9,990.

The cars are finished either in black or white and come with body coloured door mirrors, black alloys and tinted rear windows.

Five-door models are priced from £10,340 and both versions are powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine developing 60ps which has tax free emissions of 99g/km and an official fuel return of 62.8mpg.

The Citigo Black Edition also comes with Skoda's detachable ‘portable infotainment device' which includes sat nav and Bluetooth connectivity.

It also has air conditioning, electric front windows and an entertainment pack which includes four extra speakers and a special holder for multimedia devices and smartphones.

In the Citigo line up the Black Edition slots in between mid-grade SE models and the higher specification Monte Carlo versions.
